Every day visits*
From Moose, Goose, and Orb Weaver
All seized by Haiku

"Why moose and goose?" you may ask. Back on 2/04/13 Pirate wrote a haiku with an elk in it, and I responded with
one with a moose and then included him every day. A few days later in comments Mystic asked "Where's the goose?"
So I started including her with this post on 2/07. A week later on the 14th, Mark Readfern
asked for and received a spider. The rest is history.

*Well, most days, anyway. Grant me a bit of poetic license.

Shadow Shot Sunday

STRANGE BIRD?

Strange bird . . . (or lizard ?)
Hovers (or hangs?) thrusting its
Beak (or snout?) in --- What?

Here's the answer.

Once more at the entrance to the Novi, MI civic center, we find this wire sculpture of a figure holding a globe of the earth.  It's still a bit enigmatic, though.  Is that a dancer?  An athlete?  A frolicking child?

Last week's shot made this week's collage
Very cool.

  1. I like the shadow better than the "real thing," but I need to say that I would be hesitant to meet that shadowy creature up close! Frightening!

    I HAVE A LITTLE SHADOW

    I have a little shadow that always follows me;
My shadow is my best friend, as anyone can see.

No matter where my feet go, my shadow’s always there—
Except, of course, at midnight with darkness everywhere!

  2. I'm glad you provided the source. The shadow reminded me of a giant Venus Flytrap or something trying to devour the tree. Quite an interesting shadow shot!

I like to return visit, when I can - but I need to find you. If you have multiple blogs, please leave a direct link to the appropriate post.

Cheers!
